Sell ’em With Something That Doesn’t Glaringly Scream “SELLING”

In my opinion, any business owner who does not put out a newsletter for all his customers (and “pending” or targeted future customers) is an idiot. A newsletter is perceived very differently than a sales letter, flyer or brochure. It allows to introduce ideas, opportunities, options that might be instantly rejected if presented in “pure” advertising formats. It strengthens relationships.
